Leonardo da Vinci - English version
On the 1st of October 2008, the partnership of 5 organisations opened project focused on the education of disabled people. The project is realised within programme Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme 2007 - 2013.
The project "Education for employment" is focused on training and job placement support of disabled people in the Italy, United Kingdom, Hungary and Czech Republic with the main aim to improve their position on the labour market.
Transfer of innovations is conducted on several different levels. The first type of transfer occurs as the application of developed and verified innovative products and best practices of the experimental ADiP (EQUAL) project into a wider practice of this programme.
On the geographical level the partnership expects a very strong contribution to the innovation transfer from transnational partners. Among innovations that the partnership expects work into the programme are those from: VET education system and counselling support methodologies from Italian partner, counselling and job placement support from the British partner, job placement model from the Hungarian partner and training of the target groups from Czech partner.
Another type of innovational transfer used in the project is the new type of learning. The project partner University of West Bohemia converts selected topics of the training curriculum for disabled people into the e-learning form.
The project empowers clients with presentation and communication skills, computer skills, language knowledge and vocational training. Education process will be adapted to the needs of disabled persons and will be provided in a blended learning mode - i.e. in a combination of classical education and e-learning.
